Hiking with my dad

This is first picture I took with my new 70D.
I went hiking with my dad. It's really long time since I went out with him.
(I don't even remember when I went out with him ..)
Anyway first try with new camera didn't work well but I hope you like it.
This is Sudok-Sa Monastery which was 50minutes distance from my parents' house.

I wish I could explain all about pictures I will show you but I almost know nothing. :(

They are guards protecting from demons. as you picture above, the woman bowed to the guards

There are many places for praying. 'Buddha with young boys'.
This Buddha has large ear lobes. We think people who has similiar ears as lucky person.

This is one of main pagoda(tower) of this temple.

This is main temple. This temple is quite big temple among the korean temples.

There were two big bell and drum both sides of pagoda(tower).

Another temple in front of pagoda.

This is very common scene. People writes their whises on this tile (of course we have to buy first)
(Sorry I don't remember the material now)

This is another place for praying. there was always box for the money.
After praying you can put the money on the stone box

This is four side stone Buddha. There was korean description but I still don't fully understand if this is replica or not. Four buddhas are Bhaisajyaguru, Amitabha, Gautama Siddhartha, Maitreya

There was a really famous Buddhist Monk and this monument for him
I dad told me he went school picnic to this mountain when he was elementary school student :D

There were some temples we can't enter. 
Because for practicing asceticism, They really need quiet place but this temple is inside of hiking
course so they needed to limit some place and some didn't

Taking picture with 1kg camera wasn't easy :-p

We almost got to the top!

As you saw the pictures, sky was totally white, there wasn't clouds at all :(

You can see the parking lot. it looked small from here.

Finally. we got to the top. It's 495.2m height mountain. Not high but it was very good for short hiking.

New camera backpack. Not that bad :)

We didn't bring much, just two breads we bought at super market

and some pieces of watermelon.

It seems like that elephant came from India.

This is house for templestay. Templestay is an experience program. Anybody can experience thier
how they live in temple.

and this is behind temple. This was lights but there must had meanings. because there was some
words written on side of it. (of course it wasn't korean :-p)

Under the roof top, you can see very colorful wooden beam and decorations.

Thsi places for enshrinement of statue. it's kind of grave.

I think this statue represented them when they're alive.
